MAMMOTH LAKES, Calif. (KABC) -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.7 struck 11 miles east southeast of Mammoth Lakes Saturday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake struck at about 6:34 a.m. PT. USGS initially registered the temblor as magnitude-4.0 but downgraded it about an hour later.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
