Man found slain in Stanton motel room identified

STANTON, Calif. (KABC) -- A man who was found dead inside a room at a Stanton motel has been identified as 61-year-old Floyd Taylor.

Orange County sheriff's deputies said they responded to the Chester Inn Motel in the 10800 block of Beach Boulevard at about 10:16 a.m. Saturday after an employee found Taylor dead inside room #206.

The victim was bleeding and suffered several traumatic injuries, authorities said.
