Man found shot to death inside car in Santa Ana
SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was found shot to death inside his vehicle following a car crash in Santa Ana Friday night.
Authorities received reports of shots fired and a car crash in the area of Bristol Street and McFadden Avenue around 10:42 p.m.
When officers responded to the area, they found a compact pickup truck had crashed east of the sidewalk in the 1300 block of Bristol Street. A man was found unresponsive behind the wheel.
Officers then noticed the man had gunshot wounds to his upper body and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was unclear how the man was shot. No suspect description was available.
The investigation was ongoing.
