Man hospitalized after being shot multiple times in Mid-Wilshire area

MID-WILSHIRE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man is in stable condition after being shot multiple times at a 7-Eleven parking lot in the Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles Sunday, Los Angeles police say.

Authorities say someone fired several shots at the corner of San Vicente and Hauser boulevards, and the victim was struck multiple times.

Paramedics rushed the wounded man to a nearby hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

The shooter fled the scene. Investigators are checking for surveillance video to help capture the gunman.

There was no immediate word on a suspect description or possible motive.
