SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles police surrounded a McDonald's in South Los Angeles after a shooting Sunday evening.

Authorities said the shooting happened outside the McDonald's on Manchester and Normandie avenues before 6:40 p.m.

A victim suffering from a leg wound ran inside the McDonald's, officials stated. The victim was later taken to the hosptial.

Officers surrounded the McDonald's and evacuated the restaurant.

The suspected shooter remained at large, police stated. No one inside the restaurant was injured, according to officials.
