LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Mega Millions jackpot grew to $321 million over the weekend. That's the eighth largest prize in the game's history. A winning Mega Millions ticket with all six numbers was sold in New York state.

A single winner would get $194 million if they chose the one-time cash payout. The current jackpot has been growing since it was last won in Calimesa, Calif., at $180 million on August 22 -- 20 drawings ago.

Though there was no jackpot winner for last Friday's Halloween night drawing, a total of five tickets matching five numbers, but missing the Mega number, were sold -- one in New York, two in New Jersey and two in California, one in Duarte and one in Alameda.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 258,890,850, according to the Mega Millions website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 14.71.

The Mega Millions game is played in 43 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. Virgin Islands.

There were four other tickets sold with five numbers, but missing the Mega number, two sold in Texas and one each in New Jersey and New York. They are each worth $1 million, the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game, announced.
