Elderly couple with Alzheimer's goes missing from Carson

CARSON, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities need the public's help finding a married elderly couple who went missing after leaving their Carson home on Monday.

Jose and Consuelo Bracero both suffer from Alzheimer's and get easily confused. They were last seen leaving their house on the 22000 block of Kinard Avenue in a 1999 black Ford Escort at about 2:30 p.m.

Jose Benjamin Bracero was described as a male Hispanic, 73 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 175 pounds, with short gray hair. He was last seen wearing gray jeans, a brown jacket and a gray thermal shirt. He also had a gold wedding ring on his left hand and scars on both knees from previous knee surgery.

Consuelo Bracero was described as a female Hispanic, 75 years old, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 125 pounds, with brown hair. She was last seen wearing burgundy pants and a brown tank top.
