Deputies investigating apparent murder-attempted suicide in Bellflower

BELLFLOWER, Calif. (KABC) -- Sheriff's deputies are investigating what appears to be a murder and suicide attempt in Bellflower.

Los Angeles County deputies were called to the 9100 block of Rosecrans Avenue at 3:18 p.m.

They found a woman who had apparently been shot. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

They also found a man, described as a suspect, who had a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital and his condition was not released.

Officials said the incident appeared to be a murder-attempted suicide, but they were continuing to investigate.
