1 dead, 1 wounded in Long Beach shooting

LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- One person was killed and another wounded following a shooting in a Long Beach residential area Saturday night.

Long Beach police responded to the 1800 block of Lime Avenue around 10:30 p.m., and found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both were transported to a local hospital where one succumbed to their injuries.

The victims have not been identified. A suspect description was not immediately available.
