HIGHLAND, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities recovered a stolen 1930 Cadillac V16 Roadster from a location in Highland Saturday.

The car was found in the 8100 block of Tippecanoe Avenue after Redlands police, California Highway Patrol auto theft investigators and sheriff's deputies served a search warrant for the location.

Redlands police and CHP officers handled the recovery of the Roadster and processed the crime scene.

Between midnight and 4 a.m. Wednesday, thieves cut the gate lock to Nicks Old Car Specialty in Redlands and stole the rare Cadillac along with the trailer it was on.

The owner's insurance company had issued a reward for the return of the vehicle. The car is so rare that fewer than 20 of them are still on the road today, and the Roadster is worth $750,000.
