Bomb threat prompts evacuations at high school in Corona

CORONA, Calif. (KABC) -- Students at a Corona high school were evacuated to a nearby church Tuesday due to multiple bomb threat calls.

Corona police concluded a bomb search investigation after Pollard High School received the first call around 12:07 p.m. about an explosive on campus and a second call that stated the bomb will go off in 5 minutes.

All students were accounted for and evacuated to South Hills Church. Parents were notified of the incident right away.

Bomb detection dogs and authorities were at the scene for an extensive search.

The investigation concluded about three hours later, according to Corona police.
