LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Authorities have issued an all-clear after investigating a suspicious package in an administrative building at Los Angeles International Airport.

LAX police closed down parking structures 1 and 7 after evacuating the building.

The bomb squad used a robot to remove and render the package safe.

Flights were not affected but the threat prompted traffic delays in and around the airport.

LAX police said the incident was "isolated."
