BELLFLOWER, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles County detectives are investigating the shooting death of a 17-year-old boy in Bellflower Saturday night.
The shooting happened around 10:45 p.m. in the 16100 block of Bellflower Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The boy was standing in front of a location when a vehicle drove up and a suspect in a newer model gray Honda shot the teen several times, authorities said.
He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
