LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Businesses are giving back to servicemen and servicewomen on Wednesday by offering deals and freebies to mark Veterans Day.

IHOP is offering veterans and active duty military free red white and blue pancakes or a pancake combo, starting at 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Denny's is also offering veterans and military personnel a free Build-Your-Own Grand Slam Breakfast from 5 a.m. to noon.

California Pizza Kitchen giving away a free entree from its Veterans Day menu.

TGI Fridays is giving away free lunch to veterans and active duty military. And at Red Robin, vets can get a free Tavern Double Burger.

Golden Corral is hosting a Military Appreciation Dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. for any person who has ever served in the U.S. Military.

Menchie's is offering veterans and current service members a free 6 ounce frozen yogurt.

Starbucks is giving away a free cup of tall brewed coffee for vets and their spouse.

The coffee chain is also donating $5 dollars to the USO Transition 360 Alliance for each Veterans Day gift card sold through Nov. 11.
