Kidnapped teen sexually assaulted, held against will 2 days, LAPD says

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A teenage girl reported she was kidnapped, held against her will and sexually assaulted in South Los Angeles.

Los Angeles police said they responded to 700 West Imperial Highway after receiving a call from a 15-year-old girl missing from the Yucaipa area at about 5 p.m.

The teen reported to police she met a man at a fast food restaurant near the intersection of Avalon and Century boulevards on Saturday.

Police said the teen stated she believed something was slipped in her drink.

The girl told police she was held against her will for two days and sexually assaulted before escaping on Monday.

She was taken to the hospital to be evaluated.

LAPD said the suspect was described as a man in his 50s. Their investigation is ongoing.
