RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KABC) -- Thirteen firearms, including three unregistered assault rifles, and ballistic vests were among a cache of items found at a home in Riverside.

It all began when San Bernardino police arrested two subjects armed with handguns at a business located in the 3900 block of N. Sierra Way on Nov. 20 and Nov. 21. Following the arrests, investigators noticed an increase in criminal activity that seemed to stem from the business.

Authorities discovered that marijuana was being sold unlawfully from the business. Officials obtained a search warrant at the Riverside residence of 38-year-old Tuan Quong Pham in the 9600 block of Sharon Avenue.

During the search on Dec. 11, officers found 13 firearms, three of which turned out to be unregistered assault rifles, 10 pounds of high-grade marijuana, ballistic vests and $6,990 in cash.

Pham was arrested for possessing unregistered assault rifles, possession of marijuana for sale and child endangerment. He was booked into the San Bernardino Sheriff's Central Detention Center.
