Kayaker finds man's body in Huntington Harbor

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A kayaker found a man's body in the water of Huntington Harbor on Friday.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department said the body was discovered just after 5 p.m.

Deputies said the man appears to be connected to a recent missing person investigation out of Huntington Beach.

The Orange County Coroner is conducting an investigation to determine how the man died.

A male body was also found in the area on Dec. 31, 2015, but deputies said the two deaths are most likely not related.
