St. Vincent designs female-friendly guitar

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Singer-musician St. Vincent teamed up with an award-winning engineering team to design a female-friendly guitar that's thinner at the waist and lighter than a typical guitar.

The new model, which was co-designed by Ernie Ball Music Man, has a retro look and is available in black or custom Vincent blue.

The musician, whose real name is Annie Clark, introduced the guitar on Instagram with the following caption: "I wanted to design a tool that would be ergonomic*, lightweight, and sleek. So excited to be working with Ernie Ball. *There is room for a breast or two."
