ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- "Frozen" fans will get to see the blockbuster animated film in a whole new way starting this May.
The all-new "Frozen - Live at the Hyperion" musical adaptation will open at the Hyperion Theater at Disney California Adventure on May 27. It will feature elaborate costumes and sets, stunning special effects and surprising scenic transformations, Disney officials said.
"Anna and Elsa will carry the audience on an emotional journey that includes show-stopping production numbers and a few unique theatrical twists. We can't wait for everyone to see it!" said Dana Harrel, Portfolio Creative Entertainment Executive of Walt Disney Imagineering.
"For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration" will close on April 17.
