Woman found stabbed to death in South LA apartment

SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a woman in South Los Angeles, according to officers of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Authorities responded to a call of a man causing trouble in the 1000 block of W. 83rd Street shortly after 2:45 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Upon arrival, officers found a woman, believed to be about 40 years old, stabbed to death in an apartment in the area, according to the LAPD.

Investigators could not confirm whether both incidents were related.

No suspect description was available as the investigation was ongoing.
