13-year-old arrested for possessing stolen 9mm gun

YUCAIPA, Calif. (KABC) -- A fight in Yucaipa led to the arrest of a 13-year-old and another teen for having a stolen gun in their possession.

San Bernardino County sheriff's deputies were called out to the 12300 block of 4th Street shortly before 9 p.m. after reports of a fight.

When deputies arrived, they detained the unidentified 13-year-old boy and 18-year-old Juan Estrada.

In the incident, officials found illegal brass knuckles on Estrada, and a stolen 9mm gun hidden in the juvenile's sock.

Estrada was arrested for possessing brass knuckles and was booked into the Central Detention Center. The juvenile was booked into San Bernardino Juvenile Hall for a warrant that was out for his arrest and for possession of the stolen gun.
