NORTH HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A massive search was conducted for two suspects in North Hollywood after a high-speed chase came to an end Wednesday evening.

Los Angeles police said the pursuit sparked in the area of Coldwater Canyon Avenue and Saticoy Street at about 8:55 p.m.

Officers said they attempted to stop a stolen Honda, but later said they believed the suspects were also involved in a robbery.

After the suspects attempted to run from the vehicle, police set up a perimeter around the area of Vanowen Street and Babcock Avenue.

One suspect was taken into custody and booked on suspicion of robbery. The second suspect remains at large, police said.

The robbery occurred in the 6600 block of Coldwater Canyon Avenue.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information on this incident was asked to contact the Los Angeles Police Department's North Hollywood Division.
