Miley's story started in 2013 when she was found barely alive in a trash dump in Los Angeles. Nonprofit group Hope For Paws rescued her and took her to the Fuzzy Pet Foundation where staff nursed her back to health.
After more than 500 people submitted applications to adopt her and months of waiting, she was given a loving home until her owner, Toni Bua, died of cancer in February.
The Fuzzy Pet Foundation has possession of Miley again and hopes to find her another forever home.
She's 3 years old and spayed with a clean bill of health. She is a mellow and well-mannered dog, according to the organization, and she loves going on walks but is more than happy to lounge around at home, too.
