Man, 63, who went hiking in San Gabriel Mountains reported missing

LLANO, Calif. (KABC) -- Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department detectives and a family are asking for the public's help to find a 63-year-old man who went missing while he was out hiking in the beginning of May.

Authorities said Michael Patrick Flynn was last heard from on May 1 around 9 a.m. He told family members he was going hiking in the San Gabriel Mountains. His car was later found near 175th Street and Pearblossom Highway in Llano.

Flynn's family members believe he may have hiked toward Wrightwood and would have camped in the mountains. He may be near the South Fork Trail, Devil's Punch Bowl or Big Rock Creek.

He is described as a 5 feet 4 inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes.
