Man kills ex-girlfriend's male friend in Palmdale, officials say

PALMDALE, Calif. (KABC) -- The search is on for a murder suspect in Palmdale. Investigators say the killer is a jilted former lover.

Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies say 52-year-old Gonzalo Lopez went to his ex-girlfriend's home and shot a man who was visiting her Monday afternoon.

Lopez was last seen in his 2002 black Lincoln Navigator with the license plate number 7B89645.

Lopez is considered armed and extremely dangerous.
