OXNARD, Calif. (KABC) -- Oxnard police officers are investigating a shooting that left a man dead Friday night.
Authorities responded to a residence in the 4800 block of Terrace Avenue around 9 p.m. When officers checked inside, a man was found with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to Ventura County Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation was ongoing. Authorities said this is the city's fifth homicide of the year.
