1 dead, 1 wounded in Pomona alley stabbing

POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- A double stabbing in Pomona Sunday night left one man dead and another injured.

Police found the two men in an alley in the 900 block of San Bernardino Avenue shortly before 6 p.m. after receiving a call of a stabbing victim, according to a press release from the Pomona Police Department.

Investigators said both were transported with stab wounds. The first victim, said to be in his 20s or 30s, died at the hospital, and the 18-year-old man suffered minor injuries.

Police said the surviving victim was being interviewed by detectives. Meantime, Pomona PD was asking for the public's help as they investigated the incident.
