2 injured in solo car crash in Garden Grove

GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (KABC) -- Two people were injured in a solo-vehicle rollover crash in Garden Grove on Saturday, according to police.

Firefighters responded to the crash at about 8:30 a.m. in the 14000 block of Lake Street, Garden Grove police stated in a press release.

Upon arrival, officials found a vehicle resting on its roof in the middle of the street with two passengers trapped. After stabilizing the car, crews were able to extricate the victims.

One of the passengers was treated by firefighters and paramedics before being transported to UC Irvine Medical Center with moderate injuries. The second victim declined treatment.

The cause of the collision was under investigation, police said.
