CABAZON, Calif. (KABC) -- A 3.5-magnitude earthquake struck six miles from Cabazon in Riverside County on Monday, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The USGS said the earthquake hit about six miles northeast of Cabazon, and about 10 miles east, northeast of Banning.

The earthquake struck at about 2:02 p.m., according to the USGS.
