Mother found dead inside Corona home; homicide investigation underway

CORONA, Calif. (KABC) -- A homicide investigation is underway in Corona after a 46-year-old mother was found dead in her home.

Investigators were called to Sharmon Jay Intili's home in the 1000 block of Grand Boulevard Wednesday night.

When Corona police and fire personnel arrived, they found her on the floor and covered in blood. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said her death was being investigated as a homicide. No further information was released.

Loved ones set up a GoFundMe page to help pay for Intili's funeral.
