ALHAMBRA, Calif. (KABC) -- A transit bus was destroyed by fire Friday evening on the eastbound 10 Freeway in Alhambra, causing massive rush-hour backups.

No injuries were reported, but the freeway was squeezed to two lanes for the evening commute, piling up bumper-to-bumper traffic back to downtown Los Angeles.

The cause of the Foothill Transit bus fire was not immediately available.
