SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Two people were injured in a car-to-car shooting when gunfire erupted near the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza Sunday afternoon.

Suspects fired shots at a green minivan at about 5 p.m. near Crenshaw Boulevard and Stocker Street, then drove westbound on Stocker Street.

Two men in their 20s in the van were shot and taken to a hospital in stable condition. A third man in the van was not injured.

Los Angeles police canvassed the area for evidence. It was unclear if the incident was gang-related, Los Angeles Police Det. Gerald Harden said.
