2 sheriff's deputies injured in Carson crash

CARSON, Calif. (KABC) -- Two Los Angeles County sheriff's deputies were transported to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center Thursday night following a crash in Carson.

The collision occurred near Alameda Street and Wilmington Avenue at about 9:35 p.m.

Officials said the deputies were riding in a patrol car, when another driver crashed into them.

Carson police said drugs and alcohol were not involved and that the other driver simply wasn't paying attention.

The deputies were said to be in stable condition.
