SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A shooting Saturday evening in the Gramercy Park neighborhood of South L.A. left several people injured, authorities said.

The incident was reported at 9:40 p.m. in the 1600 block of Century Boulevard, where a "large" party was being held, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.

Two victims were hospitalized with major injuries after being shot but were expected to survive, the spokesperson said. Three others were treated at the scene and released after suffering grazing wounds.

The shooter or shooters were at large. No description was available.

The motive for the shooting was unknown.
