CORONA, Calif. (KABC) -- A small plane with two people on board came crashing down in the middle of a field near Corona, landing upside down.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m. Monday about three miles southest of Lake Mathews.

CHP officers found the plane upside down in a field, but the pilot and passenger walked away unharmed.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
