MONROVIA, Calif. (KABC) -- A 31-year-old suspected gunman has been arrested almost a month after a triple shooting at a Monrovia bar that left one man dead and two others wounded, authorities said.

Jeremiah LaCroix turned himself in Sunday at a correctional facility in Banning, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a statement. He was transferred to the Norwalk sheriff's station booked on suspicion of murder.

LaCroix had been sought in an early morning shooting on Dec. 2 that stemmed from an argument at the Gem City Grill. According to investigators, a man brandished a handgun and opened fire amid the confrontation, which involved two groups of men, including alleged gang members.

Monrovia resident Michael Lowe, 43, was shot and killed. Two other men, both 24, were wounded and hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries; one of them was described as an innocent bystander.

Four suspects were arrested before LaCroix was taken into custody. They included the alleged shooter's parents, who are accused of helping him avoid arrest in the immediate aftermath of the incident.

William LaCroix Sr., 57, was charged with one count of being an accessory after the fact, and Ana Guerrero, 53, was charged with two counts of being an accessory after the fact.

Jeremiah LaCroix's brother, William LaCroix Jr., 34, and Erika Torres, 33, both of Monrovia, were arrested a short time after the shooting and are each facing murder and attempted murder charges.

The unidentified getaway driver remains at large.

Anyone with information about the case was asked to call the sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500. Anonymous information can be provided to Crime Stoppers at (800)222-TIPS.
