Two firefighters spotted the flag, took it down and carefully folded it as the fire raged through the structure. No injuries were reported in the blaze.

The blaze started around 2 p.m. as an auto fire inside a car conversion shop housed in the building in the 1300 block of N. Dynamics Street, according to fire officials.

Firefighters were initially concerned about potential spread of the flames to neighboring businesses with flammable materials, but were ultimately able to contain the flames to one unit in the multi-unit structure.
