VIDEO: Fire tears through Santa Monica apartment building

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (KABC) -- No injuries were reported after a fire raced through a Santa Monica apartment building Saturday night.

The fire was reported at about 9 p.m. in the 400 block of Marine Street, where the building at one point appeared to be fully engulfed.

Santa Monica and Los Angeles city firefighters were able to knock down the blaze without injuries.

The cause of the fire was under investigation. It was unclear how many, if any, residents were displaced.
