Man found fatally shot inside car in Sun Valley

SUN VALLEY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- An investigation is underway in Sun Valley after a man was found fatally shot inside a car.

The incident occurred Tuesday night off Alcove Avenue and Cantara Street.

Police responded to shots fired in the area. They arrived and found a person dead inside a Mercedes-Benz with the driver's side window blown out. Investigators said it appeared that the victim's vehicle had crashed into a parked car.

The victim's identity was not immediately disclosed.
