Donna Mills dishes on return to 'General Hospital'
Actress Donna Mills lands back in Port Charles to take on the role of Madeline Reeves in the daytime drama 'General Hospital.'

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Actress Donna Mills lands back in Port Charles to take on a role in the daytime drama "General Hospital."

Mills made a brief visit earlier this year, but was asked to come back for more. Her character Madeline Reeves has a strained, mysterious relationship with her sister.

Reeves raised her sister's son as her own and he recently learns the truth. There's also trouble with her daughter, Nina, who Reeves accidentally put in a coma for 20 years.

"She's going to have more than one side. I think she's got a really bad side. I mean, she's kind of blind to the stuff she's done that's bad," Mills said of her character.

While Mills loves her story line, she's sworn to secrecy about it. But she did share something about daytime television she's not crazy about.

"I hate the pace!" Mills laughs. "Are you kidding me? Who would like this? No, it's terrible! You have no chance to rehearse and feel it and get it and everything like that. It's all by the seat of your pants. I give all the actors who do it every single day a lot of credit, because it's hard!

Fans are now contacting Mills all the time through social media, which she says has been lovely.

"It's really nice to know that there are people out there that enjoy watching me," Mills said. "I love them."
