LANCASTER, Calif. (KABC) -- Firefighters fully contained a 40-acre brush fire that broke out near Lake Hughes in Lancaster Saturday afternoon.

Three helicopters and six crews were at the scene battling the blaze, dubbed the Johnson Fire, which started around 12:40 p.m.

No structures were damaged nor injuries reported.
