ONTARIO, Calif. (KABC) -- Christmas arrived early for more than 2,000 families from Riverside and San Bernardino counties. They lined up Saturday morning for toys donated to ABC7's Spark of Love toy drive.
"We do it for the kids and that's the most important thing of all. I was a poor little kid and anytime that I can give back to my community, I enjoy it," said Mike Pou, a warehouse owner.
Families qualify for the toy distribution based on their need. Many were grateful their kids will have something under the tree this Christmas.
"I'll take it here, hide it in the garage, wrap it and then put it under the tree when Santa comes," Ontario resident Melissa Yerena said.
