Bomb squad give all clear on suspicious package found in Montebello

MONTEBELLO, Calif. (KABC) -- Montebello police and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department bomb squad gave the all clear on a suspicious package dropped off near a business in the 3500 block of Beverly Boulevard Wednesday.

Around 2:45 p.m., police and the LASD bomb squad went out to investigate the package and diverted traffic away from the area. By 3:45 p.m., the squad said the package was safe and reopened the street.
