Suspect flees onto roof of building in Harvard Heights area

HARVARD HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A search was underway Thursday for a burglary suspect in the Harvard Heights area, Los Angeles police said.

The LAPD said officers went to arrest the suspect for a felony warrant, but he fled onto a roof of a building on the 2200 block of Washington Boulevard. Police later determined the suspect was no longer on the roof, but he was still somewhere in the neighborhood.

A perimeter was set up to search for the suspect, who is not believed to be armed.
