Truck crashes into pole in Arleta, causes power outage

ARLETA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A truck crashed into a power pole in Arleta Saturday afternoon, knocking out power to 863 LADWP customers.

The crash was reported in the 13100 block of Tonopah Street at 3:30 p.m., according to DWP spokeswoman Kim Hughes.

The pole went down and landed on a house. The truck driver was not seriously injured.

Service was expected to be restored by 10 p.m., DWP spokesman Albert Rodriguez said.
