THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (KABC) -- Two suspects were arrested Wednesday after their Uber driver was pulled over and they were found in the backseat with one-quarter pound of concentrated cannabis.

Cody Jens, 24, of Agoura Hills and Luke Karasiuk, 22, of Thousand Oaks were booked into the Ventura County Jail for possessing a controlled substance for sale.

Deputies pulled the Uber driver over for a code violation on Westlake Boulevard, south of Avenida De Los Arboles, in Thousand Oaks at 11:58 a.m.

That's when they noticed the men in the back seat were in possession of approximately one-quarter pound of concentrated cannabis, known as butane honey oil, and $2,000.

Detectives say the men were using the Uber service to drive them to a drug deal.
