Westchester carjacking suspect photos released

WESTCHESTER, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles Police Department has released surveillance images of the suspect wanted for a carjacking in Westchester.

Police say the suspect jumped into another person's vehicle on Monday on the 5200 of Century Boulevard, near Los Angeles International Airport.

He apparently shoved the victim out of the car as it was moving and took off eastbound on Century Boulevard.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, about 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing between 250 and 300 pounds.

He was last seen wearing a white knit cap with black logos, a dark gray hooded pullover with drawstrings, black baggy jeans and tennis shoes with white trim and soles.

The stolen car is a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu with Texas plates.
