Villa Park High School basketball coach arrested for alleged sexual misconduct

VILLA PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- A walk-on girls basketball coach at Villa Park High School has been arrested for alleged sexual misconduct with two high school girls.

Dwayne Richardson of Fullerton was arrested on Wednesday and booked on suspicion of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and sexual penetration and oral copulation with a minor.

The 20-year-old posted $100,000 bail and was released early Thursday.

Upon investigation, authorities discovered that Richardson allegedly had sex with a female student who attends Villa Park High School and with a student at El Dorado High School in Placentia. Authorities believe the sexual misconduct happened starting June 2014.

Investigators said Richardson worked as a walk-on coach for the Villa Park High School girls basketball team and does not teach at the school. Sheriff's deputies believe there may be additional victims.
