55 Fwy reopens after reports of jumper in Orange

ORANGE, Calif. (KABC) -- Both directions of the 55 Freeway were temporarily shut down in Orange Friday night after reports of a jumper, according to the California Highway Patrol.

All lanes of the southbound and northbound sides were closed off between Katella and Lincoln avenues shortly before 8:30 p.m.

By 10 p.m., all southbound lanes reopened and the northbound side opened shortly before 11 p.m., according to Orange County CHP officials.

Details surrounding the reported jumper were not released.
