SPRAGUE, Wash. (KABC) -- A 15-year-old boy was arrested in connection with the attempted kidnapping of a 22-month-old Washington boy, who was saved by his siblings and local teens.

Owen Wright, the toddler, was playing in a park in Sprague, Washington Sunday afternoon with his brother Brenden, 10, and sister Delicia, 8. The siblings were playing unsupervised at the park, which was next to their babysitter's home while their father was at work.

While the kids were playing, a male suspect scooped up Owen and ran off with him. Surveillance footage from a nearby grocery store showed the suspect running off with Owen in his arms. He was quickly followed by Owen's siblings, who were both screaming for help.

The chase ended after two teenage boys joined in to help the kids. The suspect put down the toddler and fled the scene.

Detectives with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Department said an intensive investigation led to the arrest of the teen, who was positively identified by Owen's brother and sister.

The boy's identity has not been released. He faces charges for second degree kidnapping and was booked into a juvenile facility.
